Japan, India, U.S. Officials to Hold 1st Meeting on Maritime Security (Mainichi)

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Senior officials from Japan, India and the United States are planning to meet together, possibly next month, to discuss maritime security, with China's growing activities in surrounding waters in mind.
The three countries are exploring the possibility of holding the first director general-level meeting to discuss issues related to the Asia-Pacific region in Washington on Dec. 19, Japanese officials said.
