Butler native installed as Navy's new chief of naval operations

ANNAPOLIS, Md.--A Butler native and U.S. Naval Academy graduate is the Navy's new chief of naval operations.
Adm. Jonathan Greenert, a 1971 graduate of Butler High School and a 1975 academy graduate, was installed Friday as the 30th chief of naval operations. Adm. Greenert is now the principal naval adviser to President Barack Obama and the secretary of the Navy and a member of the joint chiefs of staff.
