A day after ruling out policy of hot pursuit while dealing with pirates, Defence Minister AK Antony on Tuesday called for a UN-mandated concerted action by Navies of the world to wipe out the menace.
Stating this, the Minister also said the proposed anti-piracy law to effectively deal with piracy will come up before the Cabinet Committee on Security(CCS) chaired by the Prime Minister very soon for approval. The Defence and Shipping Ministries had cleared the draft of the law and the Law
