The IMB's Live Piracy Reporting Centre has just posted the following attack report. According to the IMB, a container ship underway at position 14:04.18N-041:52.24E in the Red Sea noticed a skiff at a distance of two nautical miles at 0847 UTC.
The skiff was seen to increase speed and approach the container vessel at approximately 16 knots. At a distance of 1nm, the Master raised the alarm, alerted the armed security team onboard and all crew retreated to the citadel.
