The IMB's Live Piracy Reporting Centre details the following attack on a bulk carrier in the Gulf of Aden on Sept. 24th. The report states that pirates in a dark coloured rubber boat chased and fired upon the bulk carrier, underway at position 12:25.8N-043:38.2E at 2050 UTC. This mirrors tactics reported by NATO last week, concerning pirates using dark coloured boats and approaching vessels at dawn or dusk.
