Judge withdraws from piracy case in Norfolk

NORFOLK
A federal judge has recused himself from the case of the hijacking of a yacht that left four Americans dead after learning that the vessel is now being stored at a Portsmouth marina partially owned by his brother.
Just before the holiday, U.S. District Judge Mark S. Davis informed the lawyers for 13 Somalis and one Yemeni that he was removing himself from the case.
