Judge says Somali pirate case will go to trial

NORFOLK
A federal judge on Thursday refused to throw out piracy and related charges against a Somali man accused of being the ransom negotiator during the hijacking of a yacht that ended with the killings of four Americans.
"I'm going to try this case," U.S. District Judge Robert G. Doumar said at the end of a nearly three-hour hearing.
