Two-day Ohio conference focuses on Somalia's humanitarian, piracy and financial problems

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Somalia's numerous problems, from piracy to humanitarian suffering to receiving money from overseas immigrants, are the subject of a two-day conference at Ohio State University.
The previously scheduled conference comes just days after U.S. special forces rescued two hostages inside Somalia and killed nine captors in the process.
