The Office of Naval Intelligence has issued a special advisory following an attack this morning on a vessel approximately 500nm ESE of the Seychelles. The merchant vessel was reportedly approached and fired upon at 0700Z today, February 18th, in position 05.29S-064.02E.
NATO Shipping Centre, meanwhile, also notes a suspicious approach by one skiff in position 05.29S-059.59 E at 0714UTC.
