Ocean road drives up trade
When Indian Ocean Drive opened more than a year ago, local businesses along the route were braced for a fresh wave of visitors.But few predicted how quickly it would transform the once sleepy strip of coastal towns into bustling tourist destinations.Opened in September 2010, the $95 million road stretching from Lancelin to Dongara has not only brought more tourists to the surrounding towns but also new infrastructure and businesses.Pinnacles Desert Discovery business manager Alistair Graham
