Pirates Demand $5 Million, Captives Reported In Good Health

Somali pirates were reported as freeing a Malaysian-flagged ship, MV ALBEDO, after allegedly being paid US$4 million in ransom money on Sunday. Somalia Report has now learned that the MV Albedo is still docked near Harardheere, and negotiations are ongoing.
The crew has been held in captivity for 13 months.
