NATO's Shipping Centre has this morning issued the following alert. According to the report, a possible Pirate Action Group (PAG) was sighted in position 01.37N-046.00E at around 02:35 UTC.
NATO advises vessels transiting the area to exercise extreme vigilance when navigating to within 100nm of this position.
