A merchant vessel was approached approx. 50nm off the coast of Oman, in position 22 27 N 060 59 E. A skiff with 6 persons on board approached within 50 metres, and ladders and weapons were clearly seen. This incident was reported as an attack for alert purposes, and details can be found under Alert 003. The merchant vessel is safe, but Masters are advised that the Pirate Attack Group (PAG) is still active
