Timely action saves woman

Timely action taken by naval personnel attached to the naval
detachment in Kalutara saved the life of a young woman who tried to
drown herself in the Kalu Ganga.
Naval personnel spotted the young woman running towards the river and
plunged into the river.
Acting swiftly, Seaman P Piyaratne swam towards the struggling woman
