Further to yesterday's alert on the NATO Shipping Centre site, the IMB have a fuller report on the attack on a merchant vessel in the Gulf of Aden.
The report states that a merchant vessel in position 12.19N-044.03E, around 65nm WSW of Aden was approached by six pirates in two skiffs at 04:00 UTC. The pirates were armed with guns and RPGs and fired on the bulk carrier underway.
