Oil giants score low on corruption index

Some significant countries in the oil and gas industry scored particularly poorly in a recent report on governmental corruption worldwide.

Energy powerhouses such as Russia, Nigeria and Venezuela were far from covered in glory by the latest Corruption Perception Index revealed by watchdog Transparency International on Thursday.
Countries caught up in the recent Arab Spring movement unsurprisingly also scored low on the list, with Libya in the bottom 15 of 183 countries
