EU NAVFOR have today released some interesting figures which relate to pirate attacks in their area of operations for the month of November.
As the chart illustrates, there were 12 attacks reported by EU NAVFOR for the month, of which two resulted in successful hijackings by Somali pirates. Of those 10 attacks, only one escape is credited to Best Management Practice alone. This figure seems rather low, given the widespread use of BMP4. What makes more interesting reading is the fact
