Simulation industry hopes special-missions training spares it from military cuts
Shortly after boarding a suspicious-looking boat in the Indian Ocean, the U.S. Navy SEAL team uncovers a cache of weapons and interrogates crew members who could be Somali pirates.This episode plays out not on the seas east of Africa but in a computer demo for Shane Taber, a software expert in Orlando for Engineering and Computer Simulations Inc., the company that created the program. It is now part of NATO's interdiction training to fight piracy off the coast
