Iran to increase intl. naval presence

Iran's Navy says it will increase its presence in international waters in order to provide security for shipping lines and to protect the interests of the country.
Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari stressed the importance of providing maritime security and said, “More than 93 percent of the goods transported in the world and the country, are via the sea.” “Therefore more effort is needed here in order to keep the economic cycle in motion,” Fars News Agency quoted
